The http://www.umft.ro site was first created in March 1997 by Lucian Grema and Radu Cucui on a HP-UX based web server administered at that time by Marius Dobrea. Later the Webmaster team included Ervin Jakab (January 1998) who also administers the Windows-based web server: http://www2.umft.ro. 

The main server has been administered also by Radu Plesa.

Most of the English translation has been done by Alina Daba.

The Medical News content (in Romanian) was created, while it worked, by Simona Vrabete (now Jakab).
