This Pediatric Database was designed by Dr. Alan Gandy (MD.,PhD.,FRCP(C)) while enrolled in the Pediatric Residency Programme at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada from 1990-1994. Presently he is a Consultant Pediatrician in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA) is an independent, non-political federation of almost 60 national associations of medical students. It was founded in 1951 as a result of the post-war wave of friendship spirit among international students.
