DESCRIPTION:National Congress of the Romanian Society of Pathophysiology \nwith international participation \n„Tradition in Education and Collaboration in Interdisciplinary Research„ \nOctober 2-5\, 2024\, Timisoara \nOrganizers:  \n\nRomanian Society of Pathophysiology\n„Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara – Centre for Translational Research and Systems Medicine \nFoundation of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara\n\n          \nDear colleagues\, dear students\, \nOn behalf of the Romanian Society of Pathophysiology and the Organizing Committee\, we are delighted to invite you to attend the National Congress of the Romanian Society of Pathophysiology\, \n„Tradition in Education and Collaboration in Interdisciplinary Research” \nto be held in Timișoara\, between October 2-5\, 2024\, with the support of the „Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timișoara\, be means of the Centre for Translational Research and Systems Medicine and of the Foundation of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Timișoara. \nThe Congress will be held in the Aula Magna of the university\, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Daniel Florin Lighezan\, the Vice-Rector for Education of the university and will have the scientific endorsement of the International Society of Pathophysiology\, view the participation of Prof. Dr. Vladimir Jakovljevic\, the Acting President and Prof. Dr. Olga Pechanova\, the Past President of the International Society of Pathophysiology. \nPathophysiology is a biomedical science\, which is the typical example of interdisciplinarity\, being situated at the interface between basic disciplines and clinical medicine\, and at the forefront of the progress of knowledge of the mechanisms of disease and the rational basis of therapy. \nThe event will serve as an academic platform for the dissemination of the latest pathophysiological concepts and pathogenetic therapies of chronic diseases\, will bring together doctors and pharmacists\, leading specialists and reputed international researchers\, will allow the establishment/reinforcement of collaborations with research groups from home and abroad\, and will provide an excellent educational opportunity for young people. \nThe 4-day scientific program includes state-of-the-art lectures delivered by invited speakers from abroad\, plenary conferences/oral communications held by pathophysiologists and invited speakers from home and abroad\, dedicated workshops on medical and pharmaceutical specialties\, satellite symposia\, as well as oral and poster sessions for young researchers (PhD students\, master students\, postdoctoral fellows). During the congress\, in line with tradition\, the colleagues from the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine will present their work in a special section. \nThrough the topics of the lectures followed by debates\, the direct interactions with renowned specialists and with the presence of the International Society of Pathophysiology leaders\, we hope that the meeting from Timisoara will mark an important moment in the development of national and international Pathophysiology\, both in education and research\, and provide a venue that will ensure communication in the broadest meaning of the word. \nParticipation of the undergraduate students to the scientific program is free of charge in the limit of available places (prior registration is required by sendig an e-mail to the addresses silvia.gruin@student.umft.ro & andreea.gherghe@student.umft.ro). \nIn the morning of the 2nd of October\, a pre-congress Advanced Research Workshop entitled „Education Through Research – Meet the Experts„\, will be held in Aula Magna\, comprising plenary lectures delivered by prestigious invited professors from abroad. DESCRIPTION:Conferința Impact and Legacy of the European Capitals of Culture programme (9-11 octombrie 2024) \n  \nUniversitatea de Medicină și Farmacie „Victor Babeș” Timișoara organizează în perioada 9-11 octombrie 2024\, alături de partenerii din Alianța Timișoara Universitară (ATU)\, împreună cu Rețeaua Universitară a Capitalelor Europene ale Culturii și cu Centrul de Proiecte al Municipiului Timișoara Conferința internațională Impact and Legacy of the European Capitals of Culture programme. \nLa secțiunile conferinței s-au înscris peste 60 de cercetători din România și din alte țări europene (Ungaria\, Austria\, Belgia\, Croația\, Franța\, Germania\, Grecia\, Letonia\, Marea Britanie\, Norvegia\, Polonia\, Slovacia și Slovenia). DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \nSerie de cursuri și ateliere pentru studenții mediciniști\n28 octombrie – 1 noiembrie 2024 \n             \nÎnscrieri: 21 – 25 octombrie\nFormular: aici (număr limitat de locuri) \nCine se poate înscrie: \nLevel 1: studenții care NU au mai participat la proiect (anul II-VI de studiu);\nLevel 2: în calitate de tutori (studenții care au mai participat la proiect);\nÎntâlniri cu intrare liberă: pentru studenți\, cadre didactice etc. \nCoordonatoare de proiect: \nConf. univ. dr. Ițariu (Universitatea de Medicină din Viena) \nDescriere: \nApelul la pacienții standardizați/actori a devenit o practică uzuală global în universitățile de medicină. Actori care preiau rolul pacientului contribuie semnificativ la învățarea\, exersarea\, evaluarea și chiar cercetarea competențelor de comunicare ale viitorului cadru medical în dialogul verbal și nonverbal pe care acesta îl poartă cu pacientul. \nLimba\, instrumentul cheie în comunicare\, se impune\, în plin proces de globalizare\, a fi adusă la un nivel standard de utilizare. Astfel\, proiectul nostru\, destinat studenților mediciniști\, construiește transdisciplinar\, aducând formatori specializați în medicină\, lingvistică și actorie în ateliere comune. Medicul în devenire va dezvolta abilitățile necesare de a înțelege și a comunica în situații dintre cele mai sensibile\, cu un feedback de 360⁰. \nImplicarea unei plaje largi a studenților mediciniști este asigurată prin utilizarea în cadrul atelierelor a limbilor română\, germană\, engleză și franceză (NOU: exersarea dialogului în limba română ca limbă străină / RLS). \nEchipa de formatori: \n\nLimbă & comunicare:\n\nConf. univ. dr. Constantin Tovarnițchii (UVT)\nActorii: Yannick Becker\, Otniel Floruț\, Vanessa Ifrim\, Jacqueline Kohl\, Ilior Spătar. \nSecțiuni: \n\nTalk to the patient: învață să comunici – cursuri și ateliere pentru studenții mediciniști;\nTalk to the student: învață-i să comunice – cursuri și ateliere pentru cadre didactice;\nTalk to the doctor / Play the patient: intră în pielea pacientului/pacientei – cursuri și ateliere pentru actori (profesioniști\, amatori);\nTalk to a specialist: vorbește cu specialiștii – dialog între/cu specialiști;\nIncrease the stock of knowledge: analizează ce faci\, cum faci\, ce resurse ai\, cum te îmbunătățești; cercetare.\n\nScopul: \nPregătirea viitorilor medici prin: \n\nexersarea structurii și conducerii dialogului de anamneză doctor-pacient/aparținător\, a etapelor și specificului acestuia în cele patru limbi studiate la UMFVBT: română\, germană\, engleză\, franceză;\ncrearea contextului de întâlnire a studenților mediciniști cu pacienții standardizați pentru exercițiul repetat și atât de necesar al dialogului doctor-pacient;\nanaliza comportamentului în timpul acestui exercițiu\, autoevaluarea celui care a intrat în rolul medicului\, dar și feedback-ul primit de la pacientul standardizat\, respectiv de la colegii studenți la Medicină\, alături de feedback-ul medicului specialist oferă informații valoroase pentru reflecția ulterioară asupra celor experimentate și șanse reale de progres;\ninstruirea pacienților standardizați de către formatori specializați în artele spectacolului\, dar și în cea medicală\, formând astfel o resursă umană specializată care poate fi implicată ulterior în proiecte similare.\n\nLocul de desfășurare: Cursurile și atelierele se desfășoară în sălile UMFVBT (Poșta Mare\, etaj I\, II)\, cu excepția întâlnirii de la Librăria Cărturești Mercy (vezi programul). \n  \nProiectul se desfășoară prin C-CLASC/UMFVBT\, cu sprijinul  \nPartener: Librăria Cărturești.\nProgram: vezi anexa (click aici). \nContact: kohn.daniela@umft.ro
