DESCRIPTION:INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ WEEK\n1st edition\nCROSSING CULTURAL BOUNDARIES\n ‘Victor Babeș’ University of Medicine and Pharmacy\n18-22 May 2026 \n  \nUniversitatea de Medicină și Farmacie “Victor Babeș” din Timișoara organizează prima ediție a International Students’ Week\, în cadrul căreia se vor desfășura seriile de workshop-uri dedicate studenților mediciniști străini\, Crossing Cultural Boundaries\, evenimente care s-au bucurat de un real interes și implicare din partea acestora de-a lungul anilor. \nScopul acestor manifestări destinate studenților din universitatea noastră este de a promova multiculturalitatea dar și valorile naționale\, de a se cunoaște și altfel\, de a-și testa aptitudinile de comunicare într-o limbă străină\, de a acumula informații lingvistice noi într-un cadru mai puțin formal\, de prietenie\, colegialitate\, lucru în echipă\, susținere și continuă formare. \nEdiția din acest an reunește studenții din secțiile cu predare în limba română și limba engleză din peste 20 de țări participante. DESCRIPTION:Avem deosebita plăcere de a vă invita la cea de-a 16-a Conferință New Frontiers in Cardiovascular Research – France & Central Europe\, organizată de către Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie „Victor Babeș” cu suportul Fundației Universității\, ce va avea loc în format fizic la Timișoara\, în perioada 27 – 29 mai 2026. \nProgramul științific va fi susținut de către prestigioși lectori invitați\, care vor oferi\, în cadrul unor sesiuni tematice\, perspectiva actuală asupra progreselor privind mecanismele moleculare\, celulare\, precum și aspectele translaționale și clinice implicate în patogeneza și managementul bolilor cardiovasculare. \nBazându-se pe 15 ediții de success derulate pe parcursul ultimelor trei decenii\, această conferință de tradiție va continua să servească drept platformă de diseminare a celor mai recente descoperiri în bolile cardiovasculare și comorbiditățile conexe. Totodată va oferi o oportunitate educațională excelentă pentru tineri atât prin interacțiuni personale cu medici-cercetători\, cât și prin posibilitatea stabilirii de colaborări cu colective de cercetare din străinătate. \nTermenul de trimitere al rezumatelor a fost prelungit până la data de 3 mai 2026 – cei interesați sunt rugați să trimită rezumatele conform instrucțiunilor de redactare din anunțul general privind modalitatea de participare (de mai jos). \nDorim să oferim doctoranzilor și postdoctoranzilor implicați în cercetarea cardiovasculară fundamentală și clinică\, posibilitatea de a-și prezenta rezultatele cercetărilor\, sub egida Școlilor doctorale\, fără achitarea taxei. \nDe asemenea\, susținem participarea liberă a studenților – cei interesați sunt rugați să îl contacteze pe stud. It will also provide an excellent educational opportunity for young researchers\, both through personal interactions with physician-researchers and through the possibility of establishing collaborations with research groups abroad. \nThe deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended to May 3rd\, 2026 – those interested are asked to submit their abstracts in accordance with the writing instructions in the announcement regarding participation (see below). \nWe would like to offer doctoral and postdoctoral students engaged in basic and clinical cardiovascular research the opportunity to present their results\, under the auspices of the university Doctoral Schools\, free of charge. \nWe also support free participation for undergraduate students – those interested are asked to contact stud.
