Dental Prosthetics

Within the Dental Prosthetics Clinic, there are currently sixteen teachers and university assistants, who coordinate the preclinical and clinical classes in Dental Prosthetics with students of years III, IV, V and VI of the Faculty of Dentistry, but also with those in the third year of study of the College of Dental Assistance and the first year of Dental Technologies. Also within the  Clinic, the training activity of a number of over 20 resident doctors in the specialty of Dental Prosthetics is guided and coordinated annually.

The Dental Prosthetics Clinic has logistically 4 dental office rooms, equipped with a number of 24 dental units, but also a modern Phantom laboratory, where pre-clinical classes are carried out with third year students. Since 2016, the Dental Prosthetics Clinic has been equipped with a complete CAD / CAM office system, which allows the performance of various prosthetic restorations in a single session.

The didactic activity is interlinked with the research activity, done in collaboration with other clinical and preclinical disciplines in the country and abroad. Yearly, the professors within the Clinic coordinate undergraduate papers of the students of the Faculty of Dentistry, participate in national and international congresses and publish  research results in specialized journals.
