The Cardiovascular Surgery Department and academic discipline within the “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara is one of the centers of excellence in cardiac surgery in Romania, with a strong tradition in caring for patients with cardiovascular diseases, academic activity, and training future generations of surgeons.
The department and academic discipline are coordinated by Professor Horea Feier, MD, PhD, an experienced cardiovascular surgeon known for his significant contribution to the development of advanced surgical programs in both adult and pediatric cardiac surgery.
