The Vice-Rector responsible for social and administrative matters has the following main duties:
a) Coordinates the work of the Social and Administrative Directorate and the Council for Student Extracurricular Activities;
b) Coordinates social and administrative activities within the university together with the Director of Social and Administrative Affairs;
c) Coordinates activities relating to student accommodation in halls of residence;
d) Coordinates activities relating to the awarding of student grants, excellence grants, merit grants, study grants and social grants;
e) Assesses the state of the university’s assets and proposes the necessary measures;
f) Coordinates the Student Career Guidance and Counselling Centre;
g) Manages staff and student trips abroad and monitors their activity reports upon their return, where applicable;
h) Ensures the participation of university students in study and research placement programmes both in Romania and abroad;
i) Is responsible for the knowledge and correct application of legislation and regulations relating to the area under their coordination;
j) Establishes working procedures for the activities for which they are responsible;
k) Identifies the actions and activities necessary to achieve specific objectives;
l) Identifies, assesses and prioritises risks that may affect the achievement of specific objectives and establishes actions to keep risks within acceptable limits;
m) Monitors the achievement of specific objectives, analyses the activities carried out within the managed structure, measures and records results, compares results with the objectives to be met, and identifies deviations;
n) Evaluates the achievement of specific objectives;
o) Other duties delegated by the Rector.
