StudyinRomania mobile app

The Executive Unit for the Financing of Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI), TOGETHER WITH THE Ministry of Education have launched the first mobile app Study in Romania, on 8 June 2022.

The mobile app StudyinRomania is one of the tools for the promotion of Romanian higher education under the patronage of StudyinRomania, alongside the improved platform StudyinRomania, the promotional film of the Romanian higher education and the application platform for the scholarships offered by the Romanian Government via the Romanian Foreign Ministry.

The mobile app is addressed both to young people abroad (both EU and non-EU) and to young people in Romania, aged between 18 – 30 years, interested in studying in one of the Romanian universities, for an entire academic cycle or for only one semester.

The application can be downloaded from the online app stores, both for Android and for iOS users. The app is interconnected with the StudyinRomania platform and offers information both for potential students (interested in studying in Romania) and for those who already study in Romania, via two main menus: I Want to Study in Romania and I am a Student in Romania.

The app includes data about Romania, key information about Romanian universities, i.e. the university centers and their educational offer, the admission procedures, scholarships, visa issues, residence permit, the rights and obligations of students, student organizations, voluntary work and the Erasmus+ program. At the same time, users can receive notifications for various fields of interest.

The StudyinRomania  app is available in English and Romanian, albeit some of the details about universities are available only in English, as the contents has been imported from the StudyinRomania  platform.

The app is meant to support universities and central institutions in the higher education, in order to encourage the internationalization of higher education and to increase participation in higher education, contributing to enhancing Romania’s image abroad.
